The development and construction of a vertical packaging machine for toppings for bread, ice cream or baked goods. The challenge was to create a machine that is not only flexible but can also handle different product sizes efficiently, without the need for complex conversion processes. To meet these requirements, we have developed an innovative packaging line. The key requirement for this machine was flexibility, enabling it to process both cardboard boxes and jars. To achieve this, we opted for a unique side-belt system that can hold the boxes and jars securely in place. This packaging line is an autonomous machine with an integrated linear weighing system. All settings are easy to adjust and are recorded in a log on the machine’s screen. The hardware replacement parts are easy to remove and replace with bespoke parts for each specific product. Furthermore, it is possible to operate the machine with the central door open, allowing for manual filling or the addition of products.
