Nederland Verpakt V.O.F. (hereinafter: “NL Verpakt”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar techniques to operate the platform, analyse its use and — only with your consent — to support marketing or advertising purposes. This cookie policy explains which cookies we use, why and how you manage your preferences.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores when you visit a website. In addition to classic cookies, we also use similar techniques such as localStorage and sessionStorage. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these techniques.
Which categories do we use?
1. Functional cookies (always active)
These are necessary for the platform to function. Without them we cannot, for example, keep a login session or let you navigate through secured pages safely. Examples include:
- Authentication and session cookies from Supabase (such as
sb-access-token,sb-refresh-token); - A CSRF token to protect forms against request forgery;
- A localStorage item

Functional cookies do not require consent under Article 11.7a (3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act.
2. Analytics cookies (opt-in)
These cookies help us measure how visitors use the platform so we can improve it. We only set them once you have given explicit consent through the cookie banner.
- Google Analytics 4 — collects pseudonymous data about page visits, click behaviour and session duration. IP addresses are processed in truncated form by Google.
3. Marketing cookies (opt-in)
Marketing cookies are used to show you more relevant ads on other websites or to measure campaign results. We only place them with your explicit consent. At this moment we do not place any marketing cookies — if this changes, they will appear in this list.
Third parties
Some services we use may set their own cookies when you invoke functionality on the platform. These are only activated when the related functionality is used:
- Stripe — when you take out a subscription via Stripe or open the Customer Portal, Stripe sets cookies for fraud prevention and payment security.
- Google Maps — when you fill in address details during onboarding, Google Maps cookies may be placed for the autocomplete feature.
- Vercel — our hosting provider may set technical cookies for load balancing.

You can also manage cookies via your browser settings. Note that blocking or deleting functional cookies may lead to limitations when using the platform.
Retention period
Functional session cookies remain active until you log out or close the browser. Persistent cookies (such as your cookie choice) remain active for a maximum of twelve (12) months. Google Analytics cookies have a default lifespan of two years.
Changes
We may update this cookie policy when we introduce new cookies or change existing ones. The most current version is always available on this page. For material changes, we will ask for your consent again via the cookie banner.
