Eidos Coditherm printing system

The Eidos Coditherm 4 is an innovative solution for the direct application of variable information onto (plastic) products, even on porous or irregular surfaces within the production or packaging line. The system uses two print ribbons: a colour ribbon and a receptor ribbon. The print head first applies the design to the colour ribbon, after which it is transferred to the product via the receptor ribbon using heat and pressure. Operation is straightforward via the powerful touchscreen controller, with options for USB import or Ethernet communication. Thanks to a high print resolution of up to 600 dpi, very small barcodes, 2D and QR codes, logos and text can be printed with razor-sharp clarity. As no pre-printed labels are required, you save on stock costs and print entirely on demand. In short: the Coditherm 4 offers real-time printing, high flexibility per print job and excellent print quality without the use of printing plates or ink.
