HOW THE COMBIMAT LINEAR WEIGHER WORKS
In the linear filling units, the product is transported from the central hopper to the weighing hopper via the vibrating chute. This cycle is divided into three phases with different vibration intensities in order to achieve an optimal product flow. At the end of the chute, a pneumatic valve reduces the product flow towards the end of the weighing cycle to ensure optimum accuracy.
DESIGN AND OPTIONS
All linear weighers are constructed from stainless steel and feature a modular design. All contact parts can be removed without the need for tools, and their compact dimensions ensure they can be easily installed in the production area. Naturally, synchronisation signals are provided to enable operation in conjunction with an automatic packaging machine, but it is also possible, as an option, to operate the weigher semi-automatically using a foot pedal. Furthermore, a sensor monitors the level in the hopper and triggers a signal when product needs to be added.
CONTROL
Operation is carried out entirely via a user-friendly 7″ colour touch screen with storage for 90 programmes. The comprehensive software features, amongst other things, weighing filters, password protection and comes as standard with various languages (including Dutch, English, German, French and Spanish).
