Easy operation thanks to the touchscreen

Operating the Pelican Filling Line is straightforward thanks to the intuitive touchscreen. Operators can select pre-programmed recipes via the clear touchscreen.  This makes switching between different filling tasks quick and effortless. It minimises errors and speeds up production changeovers. The operator places the container on the weighing platform and moves the filling head (lance) over the container’s opening. The filling cycle is then started with a simple press of a button. The lance descends automatically and in a controlled manner into the packaging thanks to a servo-controlled movement. This ensures safe and accurate dosing of the product into the packaging.

Precise filling process

In the first stage – coarse dosing – a large proportion of the product is dispensed quickly. This ensures the filling process gets off to an efficient start, saving time when filling larger quantities.

Following the coarse dosing stage, the dosing speed is reduced to ensure extremely precise filling. This fine dosing ensures that the exact quantity of product enters the drum or IBC without any wastage.
