Curved belt conveyors
Description
Curved belt conveyors are used to transport products around a specific curve. These curves can range from 30 to 180 degrees. A key advantage of these conveyors is that the products remain in their original, undisturbed production sequence during transport. Furthermore, the product will not be damaged whilst negotiating the bend.
These conveyors can be manufactured in various belt widths and outside radii.
Depending on the industry and application, Innoveya recommends materials and a suitable belt type.
Material
Curved belt conveyors can be manufactured from stainless steel, aluminium or steel. Various types of conveyor belts can also be used, such as:

- Modular (link) belts
- Bottle chain belts
