FR 305 flow packer (HFFS)

This horizontal flow-wrapper (HFFS) produces cushion-shaped packaging with three seals. It is specifically designed for manufacturers of bakery products, biscuits, chocolate and sweets.

The new FM 305 is the result of ULMA’s commitment to innovation and technological development. This ongoing process has led to the new FR 305 as part of the range of rotary packaging machines.

The new FR 305 replaces the previous series of rotary packaging machines with bottom film, and incorporates the latest technological developments to deliver a better user experience, greater strength and higher reliability compared to previous models.

The new FR 305 is just as robust, reliable and easy to operate as all ULMA machines, and combines this with an ergonomic, cantilevered design that makes it easy to clean and ensures it meets hygiene requirements. In addition to these well-known features of ULMA machines, the new models are also extremely flexible when switching between different formats, thanks to the groundbreaking electronic platform with an industrial PC.

These features make the FR 305 the ideal machine to meet the needs of customers wishing to package irregularly shaped products or those that are difficult to handle.

• Electronic packaging machine driven by electronically synchronised independent motors
• The machine is built on a cantilever frame, which reduces the build-up of dirt and dust, ensuring optimal cleaning and hygiene. It also provides easy access to mechanical and electrical components.
• Operates from left to right.
• The 2-metre-long feed conveyor (standard configuration).
• Easily accessible reel holders that make loading heavy rolls easier.
• Adjustable film folding unit.
• Longitudinal sealing system with film feed and sealing rollers, featuring a height-adjustment system that is quick and easy to set.
• The cross-direction seal is created by rotating sealing bars fitted with an electronic overload safety switch.
• The machine’s parameters (packaging length, printer position, etc.) are set via the touchscreen.
• The machine is equipped with a 5-inch monochrome touchscreen as the user/machine interface, offering functions such as parameter setting, machine status information, fault diagnosis, etc.
• It is possible to store the data for up to 99 different machine set-up programmes.
