Co-packingBoxing
Horizontal and vertical cartoning. Both are possible at MPH Co-Packing. Cartoning is a form of packaging that uses high-quality printed duplex cardboard to package both unpackaged and pre-packaged items. MPH Co-Packing has its own fleet of cartoning machines for horizontal cartoning. Our cartoning line packages multiple components into a single package, such as sachets of herbs and pre-packaged pasta in ready-meals. The setting up, filling and sealing of the cardboard boxes is carried out entirely automatically at our facility. The cartoning machines comply with the high hygiene standards required for the packaging of food products. Horizontal cartoning machine Our horizontal cartoning machine has a high processing speed. During cartoning, the product is loaded onto a conveyor belt that moves in sync with the open box. As the box is moved through the machine, the product is pushed from the holder into the box. On horizontal cartoning machines, the product is fed in from the side of the box. Once the product has been loaded into the box, the flaps are glued and sealed. Cartoning machines therefore pack the products fully automatically into a high-quality duplex cardboard box. Packaging machines are becoming ever faster and more advanced. MPH Co-packing has an extensive range of machinery, which includes horizontal cartoning machines. All our packaging lines are fitted with weight-checking equipment, metal detection equipment and coding equipment to ensure optimum traceability and shelf life of the products. Top-loading machine In addition to the horizontal cartoning machine, we use a top-loading machine, or toploader, for cartoning. This enables us to carry out vertical cartoning, which makes our working method unique. Few packaging companies use this modern, advanced machine. The top-loading machine is extremely versatile. It automates the erecting, loading and sealing of foldable cardboard boxes. A distinctive feature of this machine is that it fills the cardboard box from the top. It also has a particularly large capacity. As it is very easy to operate, we can pack your products into cartons at a rapid pace. This also enables us to accept urgent orders. Our staff will then work through the evening to ensure your packaging requirements are met as quickly as possible.
