Paddle Conveyor buffer systemSupply & delivery systems

Paddle Conveyor buffer system

A buffer system for a packaging line is the ideal solution for our client. The customer uses a high-speed packaging line, where disruptions to the production process were causing significant problems. In the event of a fault in one of the machines on the line, all products were blown off the conveyor belt, resulting in unnecessary wastage. Our proposed solution is the paddle conveyor buffer system. This innovative buffer system catches the products as they travel from the filling machine to the sleeving machine. In this way, the products are temporarily held in the buffer, preventing them from being ejected in the event of a disruption to the production process. This not only helps to reduce production losses but also improves the overall efficiency of the packaging line. With our buffer system, you are not only investing in improving the productivity of your packaging line, but also in sustainable solutions that result in significant long-term cost savings. Please get in touch with us to discuss the possibilities of the paddle conveyor buffer system for your specific needs and discover how we can optimise your production process.

Filling and packaging machine for sandwich fillings, ice cream and baking toppingsBox filling machines

Filling and packaging machine for sandwich fillings, ice cream and baking toppings

The development and construction of a vertical packaging machine for toppings for bread, ice cream or baked goods. The challenge was to create a machine that is not only flexible but can also handle different product sizes efficiently, without the need for complex conversion processes. To meet these requirements, we have developed an innovative packaging line. The key requirement for this machine was flexibility, enabling it to process both cardboard boxes and jars. To achieve this, we opted for a unique side-belt system that can hold the boxes and jars securely in place. This packaging line is an autonomous machine with an integrated linear weighing system. All settings are easy to adjust and are recorded in a log on the machine’s screen. The replaceable hardware components can be easily removed and replaced with bespoke parts for each specific product. Furthermore, it is possible to operate the machine with the central door open, allowing for manual filling or the addition of products. Thanks to the machine’s ease of use, it is possible to switch from one product to another in just 20 minutes. Has the above piqued your interest? Please feel free to contact us to discuss the options for your specific application. We are ready to meet your unique packaging needs.

Expansion options and add-ons The Finch Filling Line can be expanded with options such as a roller conveyor and an automatic capper for increased capacity and ease of use. How does the Finch Filling Line work? The semi-automatic Finch Filling Line operates pneumatically and features fast and accurate weighing capabilities. The filling machine is very easy to operate: To prepare, the operator places the container on the weighing platform beneath the filling nozzle; The desired quantity of liquid is set via a control panel; The operator activates the machine by pressing ‘start’ (or using the foot pedal), causing the machine to fill the container precisely with the set quantity of liquid; After filling, the operator can seal the product (e.g. screw a cap onto a bottle), remove it and prepare the next container for the filling process. Complete the Finch Filling Line with various options The Finch Filling Line can be expanded as required with various options. For example, a roller conveyor is available as a weighing platform combined with a feed/discharge belt. This not only enables a higher capacity to be achieved but also reduces the strain on the operator. A lifting aid is also available to reduce the strain involved in lifting the packaging. In addition, we offer an automatic cap sealer for even greater convenience and efficiency, as well as a fully electric version. Let our specialists provide you with comprehensive information and inspiration. TFS is happy to work with you to find the filling solution that best suits your situation.
