Packaging Automation Rotofill rotary filling and capping machine for jars, cups and bottles
The Rotofill from Packaging Automation is a powerful and flexible rotary filling and capping machine for the fully automatic filling and capping of pre-formed jars, bottles or cups. Thanks to servo technology, intuitive operation and extensive options, this machine is suitable for a wide range of applications within the food industry. Flexible high-speed jar filling machine With speeds of up to 120 units per minute, the Rotofill is ideal for manufacturers seeking to combine high output with maximum versatility. The machine can be fitted with various filling systems for liquid, dry or viscous products and is compatible with pre-printed lids, film rolls and tamper-evident closures. Compatible with various filling and sealing options The Rotofill has a fully modular design and can be fitted with a wide range of dosing systems and sealing techniques, tailored to the type of product and packaging. This makes the machine suitable for use with everything from thin liquids to thick pastes, dry ingredients and layered products. MAP-F (Modified Atmosphere Packaging – Gas Flush) With MAP-F technology, the air inside the packaging is replaced by a tailored gas mix (e.g. nitrogen or CO₂). This extends the shelf life and improves the colour, flavour and freshness of the product. Thanks to the advanced gas-flush system, residual oxygen levels as low as 1% can be achieved. Ideal for fresh products such as salads, dips or dairy products. Auger Filler (For powders and fine granules) This precise dosing screw is perfect for dosing dry, free-flowing products such as herbs, flour, cocoa or protein powders. The auger filler is servo-controlled, easy to clean and seamlessly integrated into the machine control system. Multi-head weigher for solid ingredients A multihead weighing system is suitable for products such as nuts, fruit pieces, snacks or mixed salads. The system distributes the weight precisely across the jars and can fill multiple portions simultaneously, both whilst stationary and in motion. Very fast and efficient at higher volumes. Volumetric dosing For liquid and semi-solid products This filling option is ideal for sauces, dressings, yoghurt, soup or jam. The volume is accurately determined using cylinders or vibration technology. Suitable for a wide range of viscosities, including products containing pieces. Pre-cut lid sealing – foil or paper lids For the precise placement and sealing of individual (pre-cut) lids. The machine automatically recognises and positions the lid for a perfect seal. Available with tamper-evident features and automatic detection of missing lids. Film on a roll A fully automatic lid system in which the sealing film is fed from a roll, cut to size and precisely sealed onto the packaging. Suitable for both transparent and printed films. With optional film registration for positioning graphic elements. Simple operation & quick changeovers The Rotofill is designed with ease of use in mind. Thanks to the intuitive touchscreen interface and the integrated set-up wizard, operators can switch between different products and packaging quickly and without errors. The smart servo-driven components ensure smooth and precise operation of the turntable and other moving parts, whilst automatic height adjustments for jars eliminate the need for manual adjustment. The lightweight, tool-free changeover parts are easy to swap and feature a failsafe system, ensuring that format changes are carried out quickly and reliably. Furthermore, the built-in jar detection, pre-programmed recipe settings and precise sealing technology ensure consistent results with minimal downtime. Whether for one-off batches or rapid changes between different product lines – the Rotofill keeps the process simple, efficient and hygienic. Advantages of the Rotofill: Fills and seals up to 120 jars per minute Compatible with pre-cut lids and roll-fed film MAP-F gas flush for extended shelf life Choice of different filling techniques: volumetric, auger, multi-head or vibrating User-friendly touchscreen and automatic recipe settings Very quick and easy format changes without tools

Barsch horizontal flow packer
At Het Packhuys, we offer a range of flow-pack machines that are perfectly suited to the needs of the fruit and vegetable sector. Whether you opt for a horizontal or vertical flow-packer, we have the right solution for you. Barsch Barsch flow-pack packaging machines are designed for packaging irregularly shaped products in so-called flow-pack film. The major advantages of this method of packaging are improved hygiene, ease of use, speed and a longer shelf life for the product. Maximum accessibility and easy to maintain Simple and intuitive operation with digital support and recipe management. Quick format changeover Robust construction Models available as bottom-sealers, top-sealers and box-motion Barsch manufactures flow-pack machines in various configurations, specifically tailored to your packaging requirements. There is the horizontal flow-pack machine with film feed from above and below, featuring rotating blades or box-motion technology. Which variant is suitable for which product depends on the packaging format and the product itself. Barsch bottom sealers These horizontal flow packers are usually used for packaging products in trays, with the seal seam at the bottom. Examples include tomatoes, pears, mushrooms, etc. Loose products, such as ‘traffic light’ packs for peppers and apples, can also be processed using these flexible machines. Barsch top sealers Top sealers are primarily used for packaging loose and irregularly shaped products. With these machines, the film is fed from below and the packaging is sealed at the top. Examples of products packaged using our top sealers include: chicory, asparagus, rhubarb, carrots, lettuce and herbs.
