The major advantages of this method of packaging are improved hygiene, ease of use, speed and a longer shelf life for the product. Maximum accessibility and easy to maintain Simple and intuitive operation with digital support and recipe management. Quick format changeover Robust construction Models available as bottom-sealers, top-sealers and box-motion Barsch manufactures flow-pack machines in various configurations, specifically tailored to your packaging requirements. There is the horizontal flow-pack machine with film feed from above and below, featuring rotating blades or box-motion technology. Which variant is suitable for which product depends on the packaging format and the product itself. Barsch bottom sealers These horizontal flow packers are usually used for packaging products in trays, with the seal seam at the bottom. Examples include tomatoes, pears, mushrooms, etc. Loose products, such as ‘traffic light’ packs for peppers and apples, can also be processed using these flexible machines. Barsch top sealers Top sealers are primarily used for packaging loose and irregularly shaped products. With these machines, the film is fed from below and the packaging is sealed at the top. Examples of products packaged using our top sealers include: chicory, asparagus, rhubarb, carrots, lettuce and herbs.
